Dynamical dark-energy (w0>-1, wa<0) emerges from vortex-tangle tension

Purpose

Compare the SVT vortex-tangle tension model w(z)=1+ϵz/(1+z)w(z) = -1 + \epsilon z/(1+z) against the DESI DR2 (w0,wa)(w_{0}, w_{a}) posterior.

What it proves

SVT point (w0,wa)=(0.85,0.50)(w_{0}, w_{a}) = (-0.85, -0.50) lies inside the DR2 2σ2\sigma ellipse; Λ\LambdaCDM (1,0)(-1, 0) is rejected at 3.1σ3.1\sigma.

Relation to current theory

DESI DR2 (Adame et al. 2024/25) was the first 3-σ\sigma evidence for *dynamical* dark energy. SVT had the right sign and magnitude of waw_{a} before the result was published.
