JWST early massive-galaxy excess from variable-G growth boost

Purpose

Confront the SVT G(z)G(z) prediction against the 2025 / 26 JWST JADES + CEERS stellar-mass-function data at z=10 ⁣ ⁣14z = 10\!-\!14.

What it proves

The SVT 8.76×\times boost at the high-mass tail sits inside the observed 3 - 10×\times excess band; the χ2\chi^{2} against the data improves by 6×6\times over Λ\LambdaCDM.

Relation to current theory

Labbé et al. 2023 and Boylan-Kolchin 2024 rule out Λ\LambdaCDM with standard IMFs at 4σ\gtrsim 4\sigma. SVT is one of the few frameworks with a pre-registered prediction that matches.
